How Can I Have a Relationship with The King?
It could be that you’ve been reading through this
site and all of a sudden you’ve caught yourself saying, “Hey wait a minute. How
come I don’t have this kind of relationship with The King?” If that’s you, your
answer’s very simple: It’s because you haven’t asked Him.
If you’ve already taken the leap of faith and asked
Jesus into your life and you still feel far from Him, ask Him for the kind of
relationship that you see here and then forget about everything else and chase after
Him. He’s more than willing. In fact, that’s all He really wants from us. He
wants to be close to us and part of every little thing in our lives. Ask Him.
He’ll deliver.
If you haven’t leaped yet and are looking for something
or Someone, may I introduce you to The King? He’ll meet you where you are and
He’ll love you like no other can. Get a Bible and read it like it’s meant for
just you (because it is!). If you need a Bible, email me and I’ll get one to
you. Here are some resources to learn more.
Joyce Meyer - How to Become a Christian
Once you’ve decided that you’d like nothing more
than to have Jesus in your life and live your life with The King, pray this
prayer and mean it in your heart:
Father, I can’t live this life on
my own anymore. I need You and want You in my life. I want to know Your love
and forgiveness so I renounce my sins and ask You to wipe them away and remember
them no more. I believe that Jesus died for me. I believe that He
allowed my sin to be put on Himself when He died on the cross. I believe that
Jesus rose from the dead. I surrender my life to Jesus today. Thank You
that now I know for sure that when I die I’ll go to heaven and be with You
forever. Please come and live with me and help me with everything. Please send your
Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life.
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
If you
decided to ask forgiveness of your sins and receive Christ today, welcome to
God's family! Now, as a way to get closer to Him, the Bible tells us to follow
up this way:
- Get baptized. Jesus told us in the Bible that it’s what He wants for us.
- Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ. Email Me.
- Spend time with The King each day. It doesn’t have to be a long period of time. Or a big ordeal. Just get in the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word (The Bible). Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible.
- Seek out other followers of Jesus. Cultivate a group of believing friends to answer your questions and support you. If you can’t find any where you live, until you do, try here. These people love to pray, answer questions or help in any way they can.
- Find a dynamic local church where you can worship The King. If you need help with this, Email Me. I can suggest questions to ask or help point you in the right direction in what type of church to look into.
