Here is a Word from God that I posted 6 years ago. Facebook reminded me of it the other day and I wanted to share it again. This was pre-ISIS so at the time of the posting, it seemed rather negative and alarmist. Yet now, we can see very clearly how the devil has "picked up the souls" that were ripe and is using them for destruction.
Here it is:
(March 13, 2010)
The Lord woke me up at 4 am last Sunday morning and told me this:
"The stalks are lying on the ground. The grain is so heavy that the stalks are lying on the ground. Pray that there will be a great harvest, that the pulpits will proclaim the day of harvest and make a call for more harvesters."
The harvest fields are so ripe that the souls of the lost are lying on the ground - there for the taking. If we don't pick them up for Jesus, the devil will.
Look around and then prayerfully "pick up the grain". Let God lead you to those who are looking for a better way and then lead them in love into the Kingdom of God."
Here is what we have learned from this:
1. God will always reveal to us what we need to know ahead of time. If He doesn't show us, we don't need to know.
2. Just because a Word from God seems impossible or too depressing, doesn't mean we should discount the entire thing. Sometimes there's a natural tendency to pay attention to only the positive, "happy" Words from God and discard the somber ones. We are dealing with ISIS right now because the worldwide church didn't take the multiple Words and warnings seriously and pray against it. I myself am guilty of this.
3. Having said all of that, the soul harvest for the LORD will be much greater. It has already started but it will break out throughout the world like a wildfire and bring multitudes to Jesus - bringing in way more lives than the lives the devil is deceiving. In fact, some of those souls that the devil won over early on, have already seen the truth about Jesus and have give their lives to Him!
